Freezing Temperature Alert!
Freezing Temperatures: Though the average temperature in Austin is rather high, during winter it has been known get way below freezing. Freezing temperatures can mean frozen then burst pipes, especially those more exposed directly to the outside environment. During winter or when there is a winter advisory, please make sure to keep outside faucets wrapped or covered to help prevent freezing. Cover boxes are cheap and available at the local big box stores – or, provided by the owner or property manager upon request.
